Travatan Discontinued
Alcon is no longer going to make/distribute/sell the prostaglandin-analog glaucoma medication Travatan. They are instead going to promote their newer, less irritating Travatan-Z version, which does not contain benzalkonium chloride (BAK), a preservative that a large portion of the population has sensitivity reactions to.
TRAVATAN DISCONTINUED
This is more of a nuisance than a problem, as most eye care practitioners agree that Travatan-Z is the better formula. They have the same exact drug in the same concentration, its just that the Travatan-Z version has a less-irritating preservative.
